Okay, okay it means I am ready to go crazy again. It also means that unless you avidly follow Lost you are going to be Lost in my post about well Lost. Lost started out with a bang this season, leaving once again more questions while answering a few from last season. To recap we have the first three episodes of season 4 aired. They are:
Episode One: The Beginning of the End - ties up some loose ends
- Hurley centric
- He sees a fake Oceanic rep
- He is running from the cops
- He is committed
- He sees Charley
- Charley tells him "they need him"
- Oceanic logos appear and so do igloos?
- Jacob in the Cabin looks a lot like Jack's dad - hmmmm...
- Hurley sees him (Jacob)
- Big Mike (anyone remember Ana Lucia?) interrogates Hurley
- Hurley is one of the Oceanic Six
Episode Two: Confirmed Dead - about the would be rescuers
- A rescurer claims to talk to the dead
- Wreckage of flight 815 is discovered on the Ocean floor, all passengers are declared dead
Episode Three: The Economist - Sayid centric episode
- Sayid has seen the bracelet on Naomi's wrist before
- There is a time delay between the island and apparently the boat
- Ben is quite a world travler, Sayid finds a stash of passports hidden in Ben's house on the Others Compound
- Sayid is one of the Oceanic Six
- Sayid is killing people that Ben is telling him to kill in a flash forward
Episode Four: Eggtown - Kate centric
- Kate is passing Aaron off as her son (what happened to Claire and is Aaron considered one of the Oceanic Six?
- It is clear to me that Kate and Sawyer are over
- Ben and Miles seem to have a code going on 3.2 million was an odd request to me
- Locke seems to have lost it, really.
- Where are Sayid and Desmond? The helicopter did not make it back to the freighter.
- Hurley was once again "Scooby Doo'ed"
- Jack testified at Kate's (fast forward epi) trial and used a bogus story that they both know is false, yet he says he loves her but won't go see her because of Aaron. What gives?
- There were two books in this epi, Philip K. Dick Valis, a book about god being a Zebra. The other book was called The Invention of Moral, about love on an island.
Epidsode 5: The Constant - Desmond centric
- I can't wait - I love Desmond and so we get to find what happened to the helicopter this week!
I will update this weekly - so keep checking back. I wanted to add another great spoiler website I found called Dark UFO check it out.
I want to skip right to Episode Three because Sayid's episode rocked for me. Not only do we find out he is indeed one of the Oceanic Six but he is working with Ben Linus and killing people.
I also really am bad at math but why are all these people lately names after math genius types?
For the Lost viewer the big question was - how would the writers strike effect LOST. The answer, now that the strike is over, will only be a limited amount, we should get the same amount of episodes as initially promised. But do you have what is in every Lost fans toolkit? The sites man, it's all about the sites. Who has time to go back over each episode screen capturing each possible easter egg, cross referencing old episodes with new ones? Here are the sites that are a must to any Lost Fan:
Sledge's Site
The Tail Section
A blog about my favorite LOST theory (warning a very possible spoiler of the entire show)
And last but not least - one must decide if they are indeed a Team Jack or a Team Locke. Count me in on a Team Desmond!
