2012, so far has started out pretty good. For most of us anyways. As I peck this blog out on my iPhone I can hear Mark's painful pathetic whimpers from his hockey knee injury. The doctor wanted to give it a week and take a wait and see approach but I am going to go on record and state there is an MRI in his future....
We have crazy warm weather here which of course we do not complain about. The Christmas decorations are almost all put away and Logan started softball training camp. I started my annual resolution to be "fit" and so far have done more every day than just reach for the remote. A shock to my system for sure because I am sore all the time now. I always look forward to January even though it means I am another year older but it's also Girls Weekend in NOLA.
Dog and cat continue to be at odds with each other but it's fun to watch the politics of animals. While its true I don't get out much, I never tire of watching this big imposing yet goofy dog get skilled by a tiny gray ball of fur. In fact today's fight was epic because I had to separate cat, dog, and Mark. Some days are just awesome like that.
